These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of kkirok, a service operated by Kim Hyunsuk under the brand name Hypersoso (the “Operator,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing or using kkirok, you agree to these Terms to the extent described below.
- Service: kkirok
- Operator: Kim Hyunsuk
- Brand: Hypersoso

These Terms set out the conditions governing access to and use of the kkirok mobile application, related websites, and associated services, as well as the respective rights, obligations, and responsibilities of users and the Operator.
2. Definitions
For purposes of these Terms:
- “Service” means the kkirok mobile application, related websites, and any features or services provided in connection with them.
- “User” means any person who accesses or uses the Service, including Registered Users and Guest Users.
- “Registered User” means a person who accepts these Terms and completes an authentication and account creation process supported by the Service.
- “Guest User” means a person who uses certain features of the Service without creating or signing into a kkirok account.
- “Food Photo” means a food-related photograph that a User captures, selects, stores, or, in the case of a Registered User, uploads through the Service, together with related information.
- “Content” means Food Photos, Emoji Reactions, group names, display names, profile information, text, images, and other information created, uploaded, submitted, or displayed by a Registered User through the Service.
- “Emoji Reaction” means an emoji-based reaction that a Registered User may add to a Food Photo shared by another member of the same Group.

- “Account Deletion” means termination of a Registered User’s kkirok account and initiation of deletion of information associated with that account, subject to applicable legal retention requirements.
- Terms not defined in these Terms will be interpreted according to applicable law, notices provided within the Service, and ordinary usage.
3. Posting, Acceptance, Effect, and Changes to These Terms
-
We will make these Terms reasonably available to Users through appropriate locations, which may include the initial app experience, account creation or sign-in process, in-app settings, and our website.
-
A Registered User’s agreement with us is formed when the User reviews and expressly accepts these Terms and completes the account creation process.
-
A Guest User must review and accept these Terms before first using Guest User functionality where the Service presents an acceptance process. These Terms apply to the Guest User’s use of such functionality after acceptance.
-
Before a Registered User first uploads Content that may be displayed to other Users, the Registered User must accept these Terms and any applicable Content or community policies presented by the Service.
-
We may amend these Terms for legitimate reasons, including:
- changes in applicable law or regulation;
- changes to Service features or operations;
- security and User protection;
- changes to platform or third-party service requirements;
- operational reliability; or
- other reasonable business or technical needs.
-
If we materially amend these Terms, we will provide notice within a reasonable period before the changes take effect. As a general rule, we will aim to provide at least 7 days’ advance notice and, for changes that materially disadvantage Users or significantly affect their rights or obligations, at least 30 days’ advance notice where reasonably practicable and required by applicable law.
-
Where applicable law requires separate affirmative consent to a change, we will obtain that consent. Silence or failure to respond will not by itself constitute consent where affirmative consent is legally required.
-
If you do not agree to amended Terms, you may stop using the Service and, if you have an account, delete your account.
-
We may maintain additional policies relating to Content, reporting, enforcement, Groups, safety, or other operational matters. Such policies will not be used to impose unreasonable or unexpected restrictions inconsistent with these Terms.
4. Registered User Accounts
-
A Registered User account is created after completion of the following steps:
- reviewing these Terms;
- expressly accepting these Terms;
- authenticating through Google or another authentication method supported by the Service; and
- completing creation of a kkirok account.
-
The Service may use third-party authentication services instead of creating a separate kkirok password.
-
We do not directly collect or store the password used for your third-party authentication account.
-
Our Privacy Policy describes how we process personal information. Merely reviewing the Privacy Policy does not constitute consent to processing activities for which applicable law requires separate consent.
-
Where separate consent or a choice is legally required in connection with personal information, personalized advertising, or similar processing, we will provide an appropriate consent or choice mechanism.
-
We may reject account creation, restrict use of an account, or terminate an account where:
- the User is under 14 years of age;
- the User does not meet a higher minimum age required by applicable law in the User’s jurisdiction;
- another person’s identity or account is being misused;
- an account is created through fraudulent or deceptive means;
- a User attempts to evade a previous material enforcement action;
- an account is created for the purpose of harming the Service or other Users;
- automated methods are used to create accounts at scale without authorization;
- the Service is used for an unlawful purpose; or
- there is another objectively reasonable basis on which providing the Service would create a significant security, legal, or operational risk.
5. Guest Use and Local Data
-
Guest Users may use certain features of the Service without signing into an account.
-
The specific features available to Guest Users may be identified within the Service.
-
Food Photos and related information created or stored while using kkirok as a Guest User are generally stored only on the applicable device, including within application-specific storage or a local database.
-
Food Photos stored solely in Guest mode are not shared with other Registered Users or displayed through server-based Group functionality.
-
Local Guest data may be lost due to circumstances including:
- uninstalling the app;
- clearing app data;
- replacing or resetting the device;
- device storage failures;
- operating system errors;
- changes to permissions or system settings; or
- other device or local-storage failures.
-
We cannot restore local data that we do not possess or control.
-
Even when the Service is used without an account, third-party services used for crash analysis, Service analytics, advertising, security, or similar purposes may process certain device, app, advertising, diagnostic, or usage information. Further details are provided in our Privacy Policy.
-
If a Guest User signs into an account, the Service may provide functionality allowing some locally stored Food Photos or related information to be transferred to the Registered User’s account.
-
If such transfer functionality is provided, the Service will indicate the information to be transferred or otherwise provide information about the scope of the transfer.
-
Local information that is not transferred to an account may remain on the device until the User deletes it, clears application data, or uninstalls the application.
-
Once information is transferred to an account and stored on our servers or service infrastructure, it will be treated as account-related data under these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
6. Account and Profile Management
-
Registered Users may set a display name and other profile information permitted by the Service.
-
Display names, profile information, and other information made visible through Service features may be shown to other Registered Users, including members of the same Group.
-
You are responsible for reasonably protecting your authentication account and access to kkirok.
-
If you become aware of unauthorized access or suspected compromise, you should promptly secure your third-party authentication account and contact us where necessary.
-
We may take reasonable security measures, including additional verification, terminating sessions, or temporarily restricting access.
-
You may be responsible under applicable law for loss resulting from your intentional or negligent failure to protect your account. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability arising from our own conduct where such liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
7. Privacy
-
We process personal information in accordance with applicable privacy and data protection laws.
-
Our separate Privacy Policy describes, as applicable:
- categories of personal information processed;
- purposes and legal bases for processing;
- retention periods;
- deletion practices;
- service providers and processors;
- disclosures to third parties;
- international data transfers;
- automatically collected information;
- User privacy rights; and
- security measures.
-
Food Photos, Emoji Reactions, display names, profile information, and Group information may be visible to other Users according to the functionality and visibility settings of the Service.
-
You should not include sensitive personal information, financial information, authentication credentials, precise location information, or other information that you do not want shared in Content.
-
Image files may contain metadata relating to the device or location where an image was created. We may remove or modify certain metadata when an image is uploaded for privacy, security, or technical purposes.
-
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with a valid court order, warrant, subpoena, legally binding governmental request, or other obligation under applicable law.
-
If these Terms conflict with our Privacy Policy with respect to a specific matter concerning personal information, the Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law will govern that matter.
8. Service Features
We may provide Registered Users with some or all of the following features:
- capturing, selecting, uploading, storing, viewing, and deleting Food Photos;
- adding, viewing, removing, or canceling Emoji Reactions;
- creating, viewing, joining, leaving, and deleting Groups;
- inviting Users to Groups;
- viewing Group members and permitted profile information;
- viewing Food Photos and reactions shared by members of the same Group;
- reporting Food Photos or other Content;
- reporting other Users;
- blocking Users or hiding their Content or reactions;
- reviewing reports and taking moderation or enforcement action;
- receiving Service notices and notifications;
- submitting support requests or appeals;
- displaying advertisements; and
- other features that we may add, modify, or discontinue.
Features may vary by app version, operating system, jurisdiction, device, technical environment, or other factors.
Some features may require account authentication, acceptance of policies, device permissions, particular settings, or additional steps.
We may impose reasonable technical limits on file size, format, upload quantity, retention period, visibility, or similar operational matters.
9. Fees and Advertising
-
The core features of the Service are currently provided without charge.
-
We may display advertisements provided through third-party advertising services.
-
Information about personal data used in connection with advertising, analytics, personalized advertising, and related User choices is provided in our Privacy Policy and, where applicable, in privacy or advertising controls within the Service.
-
Where applicable law or platform policy requires consent for advertising or related data processing, we will provide appropriate consent and withdrawal or settings mechanisms.
-
We may limit or modify advertising based on a User’s age, jurisdiction, applicable law, or advertising-platform requirements.
-
We may introduce paid features in the future. Before a User purchases a paid feature, we will provide material information concerning pricing, billing, duration, renewal where applicable, and refund or cancellation terms.
-
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory statutory cancellation, refund, or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
10. Changes to the Service
We may modify all or part of the Service for legitimate reasons, including:
- adding or improving functionality;
- fixing errors;
- improving security or performance;
- complying with applicable law or platform requirements;
- adapting to changes in third-party services or technology; or
- maintaining operational reliability.
Where a change materially affects Registered Users, we will provide reasonable notice where practicable.
Emergency changes relating to security incidents, service outages, or immediate legal requirements may be implemented without advance notice.
We will not intentionally make material changes to core Service functionality for the purpose of unfairly disadvantaging Users.
11. Availability and Temporary Suspension
-
We generally aim to make the Service available continuously, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
-
We may temporarily suspend all or part of the Service due to:
- maintenance or system upgrades;
- server, network, database, or storage failures;
- failures or changes involving external service providers;
- telecommunications outages;
- power failures, natural disasters, war, emergencies, or other events beyond reasonable control;
- unexpectedly high traffic or resource usage;
- hacking, malware, denial-of-service attacks, or other security threats;
- valid legal or governmental requirements; or
- other circumstances reasonably requiring interruption of the Service.
-
Where reasonably practicable, planned interruptions will be announced in advance. Emergency interruptions may be announced afterward.
12. Discontinuation of the Service
-
We may discontinue all of the Service where continued operation is no longer reasonably practicable due to business, technical, legal, operational, or other legitimate reasons.
-
Unless a different period is required by applicable law or circumstances outside our reasonable control make advance notice impracticable, we will generally aim to provide Registered Users at least 30 days’ notice before permanently discontinuing the Service.
-
Such notice may include:
- the planned termination date;
- the reason for discontinuation;
- how account information and Content will be handled; and
- steps Users may take before termination.
-
We will reasonably attempt to provide Registered Users with an opportunity to review, delete, or separately preserve important Content before permanent discontinuation.
-
Advance notice may not be possible where immediate discontinuation is required by law, a severe security event, loss of essential infrastructure, force majeure, or comparable circumstances outside our reasonable control.
13. Our Responsibilities
We will:
- comply with applicable law and these Terms;
- take reasonable measures appropriate to the nature and scale of the Service to protect personal information and Service data;
- reasonably review User reports, complaints, support requests, and appeals;
- make reasonable efforts to restore Service functionality following confirmed technical failures;
- not knowingly encourage unlawful or clearly harmful Content; and
- make reasonable efforts to maintain reporting, blocking, and other User-safety mechanisms provided by the Service.
14. User Responsibilities and Prohibited Conduct
You must comply with applicable law, these Terms, relevant policies, and reasonable Service instructions.
You must not:
- provide materially false information during account creation or use;
- misuse another person’s account or personal information;
- impersonate another person or the Operator;
- threaten, harass, stalk, intimidate, or repeatedly subject another User to unwanted interactions;
- unlawfully promote hatred, discrimination, violence, or harm against individuals or groups;
- upload or display pornographic or explicitly sexual Content;
- upload, distribute, solicit, create, promote, or facilitate child sexual exploitation or abuse material;
- groom, sexually solicit, exploit, or abuse a child or minor;
- upload, distribute, threaten to distribute, or otherwise use non-consensual intimate imagery, including genuine, altered, manipulated, or synthetically generated intimate depictions;
- specifically encourage suicide, self-harm, or physical harm to another person;
- facilitate criminal activity or unlawful goods or services;
- unlawfully violate another person’s privacy, reputation, image rights, publicity rights, or personal information rights;
- collect, store, disclose, sell, or distribute another person’s personal information without lawful authority;
- reproduce, distribute, sell, or commercially exploit another person’s Content without authorization;
- infringe copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights;
- distribute malware, viruses, or harmful code;
- circumvent or compromise security controls;
- access or collect Service data using unauthorized bots, scripts, crawlers, scraping tools, or other automated systems;
- repeatedly send abnormal requests or intentionally overload our API, servers, or networks;
- engage in spam, fraud, phishing, or deceptive advertising;
- publicly or abnormally distribute Group Invite information in a way that interferes with normal Group use;
- evade technical safety measures, blocking, reporting restrictions, suspensions, or other enforcement actions;
- knowingly submit false or malicious repeated Reports to interfere with another User or our operations; or
- engage in other conduct that is unlawful or materially infringes the rights or safety of other Users.
Registered Users may not transfer or assign their account or contractual rights under these Terms without our prior permission.
15. Ownership of User Content and License to Us
-
As between you and us, you retain ownership of copyrights and other rights you lawfully hold in Content you create or upload.
-
By submitting or uploading Content to the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, limited license to technically process the Content only as reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, protect, and provide the Service.
-
This license may include the right to:
- store;
- reproduce for technical purposes;
- transmit;
- display within the Service;
- resize or reformat;
- cache;
- back up and restore; and
- make Content available to the Users to whom it is intended to be displayed through Service functionality.
-
This license does not transfer ownership of your Content to us.
-
We will not use your Food Photos themselves as advertising creatives or for external promotional campaigns without separate permission from you.
-
Third-party infrastructure providers may technically process Content where necessary to provide the Service. Personal information processing by such providers is described in our Privacy Policy.
-
When Content is deleted or an account is deleted, we will stop using the affected Content for ordinary Service purposes and initiate the applicable deletion process.
-
Deleted Content may remain for a limited period in backup or recovery systems and will not be used for ordinary Service purposes during that period except as reasonably necessary for recovery, security, dispute handling, or legal obligations.
-
We cannot guarantee deletion of copies that other Users or third parties have lawfully saved or shared outside the Service and that are not under our control.
16. Responsibility for User Content
-
You are responsible, to the extent provided by applicable law, for Content that you upload, submit, or display.
-
You must have the legal right or necessary permission to upload and display your Content.
-
If Content contains another person’s copyrighted material, likeness, image, personal information, or other protected rights, you are responsible for obtaining any authorization required by applicable law.
-
We do not pre-approve or guarantee the truthfulness, accuracy, completeness, or legality of all User Content.
-
The fact that Content has not been removed or restricted does not mean that we have approved or determined that Content to be lawful.
17. Reporting, Blocking, Safety, and Removal Requests
-
Registered Users may report Food Photos, Emoji Reactions, other Content, or another User through in-app reporting functionality where available or by contacting cs@hypersoso.app.
-
In-app reporting tools will be made reasonably accessible for Content and User interactions for which reporting is supported.
-
A Report may include the subject of the Report, reason for the Report, and other information reasonably necessary to review it.
-
We may review the relevant Content, account information, Service records, and other information reasonably necessary to investigate a Report.
-
When reviewing Reports, we may consider:
- severity;
- repetition;
- intent;
- likelihood of harm;
- urgency;
- applicable law; and
- User safety.
-
Depending on the circumstances, we may:
- remove Content;
- limit Content visibility;
- remove Emoji Reactions;
- restrict Group functionality;
- restrict specific Service features;
- temporarily suspend an account;
- restrict or terminate an account; or
- take other reasonable safety measures.
-
We will not voluntarily disclose the identity of a reporting User to the reported User except where reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law or legal process.
-
Registered Users may use available blocking functionality to Block other Registered Users.
-
Content or reactions from a Blocked User may be hidden or restricted for the blocking User, and interactions between the Users may be restricted as supported by the Service.
-
Blocking a User does not automatically remove that User from a Group or constitute an account suspension or termination by us.
-
Repeatedly submitting false or malicious Reports may result in restrictions on reporting or other Service functionality.
-
We do not guarantee that every Report will result in a particular enforcement outcome or that all details of our moderation review will be disclosed.
-
If applicable law provides a separate process for requesting removal of particular unlawful or harmful material, including non-consensual intimate imagery, we may provide a dedicated reporting or removal-request mechanism in addition to our ordinary reporting process.
-
Where applicable law imposes a specific deadline or procedure for a valid removal request, we will process qualifying requests in accordance with that applicable legal requirement.
18. Content Moderation
We may remove, restrict, or otherwise act on Content that we reasonably believe:
- violates applicable law or Section 14 of these Terms;
- promotes threats, harassment, stalking, hate, or violence;
- involves child sexual exploitation or abuse;
- contains pornographic or explicitly sexual material;
- constitutes or contains non-consensual intimate imagery or unlawful synthetic or manipulated intimate imagery;
- unlawfully infringes another person’s privacy, reputation, image rights, personal information rights, or other rights;
- infringes intellectual property rights;
- promotes or distributes unlawful hacking tools, malware, or harmful software;
- constitutes spam, fraud, phishing, or deceptive advertising;
- repeatedly causes material harm to Users while having no reasonable connection to the intended purpose of the Service; or
- otherwise presents a significant legal, security, or safety risk.
We may remove or restrict Content without advance notice where reasonably necessary to prevent imminent harm, protect Users, maintain security, or comply with law.
Where appropriate and legally permitted, we will make reasonable efforts to notify the affected User of a moderation action.
We may restrict or remove Content in response to valid intellectual property claims, court orders, legally binding governmental requests, or other legal processes.
We are not obligated to pre-screen or continuously monitor every item of User Content. However, we may take reasonable action when we become aware of potentially violative Content.
19. Groups
-
Groups are shared spaces that Registered Users may join through Service-supported invitation functionality.
-
Members of the same Group may be able to view one another’s display names, permitted profile information, Food Photos shared with that Group, and Emoji Reactions associated with those photos.
-
A Group Owner may, to the extent supported by the Service:
- change the Group name;
- manage invitations;
- remove members;
- transfer Group ownership; and
- delete the Group.
-
When a Registered User leaves or is removed from a Group, that User will generally lose access to the Group’s member list, shared Food Photos, and reactions.
-
Food Photos that the departing or removed User previously shared with that Group will no longer be displayed in that Group.
-
If a Food Photo is separately stored in the User’s personal account, leaving or being removed from a Group does not by itself delete that separately stored copy. The User may separately delete the Food Photo using available deletion functionality.
-
Before a Group Owner leaves a Group, the Service may require ownership to be transferred to another member. If there is no eligible member or the Group Owner elects to delete the Group, the Group may be deleted.
-
When a Group is deleted, the Group itself, membership relationships, invitation information, and Group-sharing relationships will be scheduled for deletion.
-
Deleting a Group does not by itself delete Food Photos separately stored in individual Users’ personal accounts.
-
Users should provide Group Invite information only to people they trust. Invite codes or links may be forwarded by recipients and should not be treated as equivalent to passwords or guaranteed access-control mechanisms.
-
If Group Invite information is compromised, a Group Owner or member may use available functionality to replace or revoke the invitation or contact us for assistance.
20. Deleting Food Photos and Emoji Reactions
-
Registered Users may delete Food Photos they uploaded and remove or cancel their own Emoji Reactions where the Service provides such functionality.
-
When a Food Photo is deleted, it will no longer be displayed through ordinary Service functionality after the applicable deletion process is completed.
-
Emoji Reactions associated with a deleted Food Photo will also be deleted or made inaccessible.
-
Because information may exist across databases, object storage, caches, and backups, deletion may occur sequentially across systems.
-
Information reasonably necessary for report investigation, dispute resolution, security, fraud prevention, compliance with law, or preservation of evidence may be retained separately for the period necessary for that purpose.
-
Additional retention and deletion information is provided in our Privacy Policy.
21. Enforcement and Restrictions
If a Registered User violates applicable law, these Terms, or our policies, or creates a material risk to the Service or other Users, we may take proportionate action including:
- warnings;
- removal or restriction of Content;
- restriction of particular features;
- restriction of Group functionality;
- temporary suspension;
- account restriction; or
- account termination.
In determining an appropriate response, we may consider intent, severity, actual or potential harm, repetition, illegality, security risk, and urgency.
We will generally attempt to notify a User before taking significant enforcement action where reasonable.
We may act first and notify afterward, or limit notice where permitted by law, in situations involving:
- child sexual exploitation or abuse;
- serious criminal conduct;
- credible threats of physical harm;
- account compromise or security breaches;
- malware distribution;
- large-scale spam or automated attacks;
- preservation of evidence; or
- valid legal or governmental restrictions on notice.
Where permitted or required by applicable law, we may preserve or provide relevant information to competent authorities through lawful procedures.
22. Appeals
-
A Registered User may challenge certain Content or account enforcement actions by contacting cs@hypersoso.app.
-
An appeal may include:
- information reasonably sufficient to identify the account;
- the action being challenged;
- reasons the User believes the decision should be reconsidered; and
- relevant supporting information.
-
We will reasonably review appeals and may reverse or modify an action if we determine that it was incorrect or disproportionate.
-
Repeated abusive, fraudulent, or malicious appeals intended to disrupt our operations may be restricted.
23. Account Deletion
-
Registered Users may request deletion of their kkirok account through the account deletion functionality available within the Service.
-
If a User cannot access the app or wishes to initiate deletion outside the app, the User may use:
- Account Deletion: kkirok.app/delete-my-account
- Email: cs@hypersoso.app
-
Following a valid Account Deletion request, we will initiate deletion of account-related information that is no longer required, subject to applicable legal retention requirements. This may include:
- the kkirok account and profile;
- Food Photos uploaded by the User and associated stored files;
- Emoji Reactions submitted by the User;
- Group membership relationships and relevant invitation data;
- notification device tokens stored by us; and
- other account-related personal information no longer necessary for the Service.
-
If the User is the Group Owner, the Service may require the User to transfer Group ownership or delete the Group before completing Account Deletion.
-
If a Food Photo is deleted as part of Account Deletion, Emoji Reactions connected to that Food Photo may also be deleted or made inaccessible.
-
Account Deletion does not necessarily delete independent Content belonging to other Users or information independently maintained in another User’s account.
-
Account and data deletion may proceed sequentially through authentication systems, databases, object storage, caches, backup systems, and other Service infrastructure.
-
We may retain limited information where reasonably necessary and lawful for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, compliance with legal obligations, or other legitimate purposes. Details of applicable retention are provided in our Privacy Policy.
-
Deleted information may remain in backups for a limited period due to the technical nature of backup and recovery systems. Such information will not be used for ordinary Service purposes during that period.
-
Deleted account information may not be recoverable. Users should separately preserve any information they wish to keep before deleting their account.
-
Deleting a kkirok account does not delete the Google account or other third-party account used to authenticate with kkirok.
-
Data stored solely on a device while using Guest mode may not automatically be removed by deleting a kkirok account and may need to be removed using local deletion functionality, clearing application data, or uninstalling the application.
24. Liability for Breach
-
A User or the Operator may be liable, to the extent provided by applicable law, for loss caused by that party’s intentional or negligent violation of applicable law or these Terms.
-
If a User’s unlawful conduct or material breach directly causes loss to the Operator and legal responsibility is established, the User may be responsible to the extent permitted by applicable law.
-
Nothing in this Section imposes liability beyond what is legally enforceable or improperly transfers responsibility belonging to the Operator to a User.
25. Limitation of Liability
-
To the extent permitted by applicable law, our liability may be limited for failure to provide the Service caused by natural disasters, war, widespread power or telecommunications failures, or other events beyond our reasonable control.
-
We are not responsible for Service failures or losses caused by a User where we are not legally at fault.
-
We do not guarantee the truthfulness, accuracy, completeness, or reliability of User Content.
-
Except where applicable law provides otherwise, we are not required to act as the legal representative, arbitrator, or mediator in disputes between Users or between a User and a third party. We may nevertheless take reasonable action to protect Users or address unlawful Content.
-
We do not guarantee that every item of data will be permanently preserved under all circumstances. Users should maintain separate copies of Content that is important to them.
-
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability arising from our intentional misconduct, negligence, fraud, or other conduct to the extent that applicable law prohibits such exclusion or limitation.
-
Nothing in these Terms excludes, limits, or waives any consumer, privacy, statutory, or other rights that cannot legally be excluded, limited, or waived.
26. Third-Party Services and Infrastructure
-
The Service may rely on third-party services and infrastructure for functions including:
- authentication and login;
- crash and error analysis;
- analytics;
- advertising;
- database services;
- cloud or object storage; and
- other technology necessary to operate the Service.
-
Our Privacy Policy identifies relevant third-party providers and describes applicable processing purposes, disclosures, service-provider arrangements, and international data transfers as required by law.
-
Service functionality may be affected by outages, API changes, policy changes, technical changes, or discontinuation of third-party services.
-
Where a change involving a third-party service materially affects kkirok, we will make reasonable efforts to respond or inform Users where appropriate.
27. Notices
We may provide notices through one or more of the following:
- in-app notices;
- Service screens;
- push notifications;
- email associated with a Registered User’s account;
- our website; or
- another method that Users can reasonably access.
General notices affecting all Users may be posted through the Service or website.
Material notices affecting Users’ rights or obligations will be provided in accordance with applicable law and these Terms.
Registered Users are responsible for maintaining access to relevant account and contact information where reasonably necessary to receive notices.
28. Age Requirements and International Users
-
The Service is intended for Users who are at least 14 years old.
-
Individuals under 14 years of age may not use the Service as either Registered Users or Guest Users.
-
If we learn that a person under 14 has used the Service, we may restrict or terminate that person’s access and take appropriate steps concerning associated information.
-
If the law of your country, state, province, or other jurisdiction requires a higher minimum age, parental or guardian authorization, or another requirement for lawful use of the Service, you may use the Service only if you satisfy that requirement.
-
If you are below the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, additional protections or restrictions may apply to you under applicable law.
-
The Service is operated from the Republic of Korea and may be made available internationally through app stores or other distribution channels.
-
Users outside the Republic of Korea may have rights under mandatory consumer protection, privacy, child protection, or other laws of their jurisdiction.
-
Nothing in these Terms requires a User to waive rights that cannot lawfully be waived under applicable local law.
-
Questions concerning minors or international User rights may be submitted to cs@hypersoso.app.
29. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
-
These Terms and the contractual relationship relating to the Service are generally governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without prejudice to mandatory laws applicable to Users in other jurisdictions.
-
We and Users will make reasonable efforts to resolve disputes relating to the Service in good faith.
-
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it may be submitted to a court having jurisdiction under applicable law.
-
To the extent permitted by applicable law, disputes relating to these Terms may be handled by the courts of the Republic of Korea in accordance with applicable Korean procedural law.
-
Sections 1 through 4 do not deprive consumers residing in another jurisdiction of mandatory consumer protections, statutory remedies, or jurisdictional rights that cannot legally be waived.
-
Matters not expressly addressed in these Terms will be governed by applicable law and generally accepted legal principles.
30. Severability
-
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable by a court or other authority having jurisdiction, the remaining provisions will continue in effect unless the invalid provision is essential to the agreement as a whole.
-
To the extent permitted by applicable law, an invalid or unenforceable provision may be interpreted or applied in a lawful manner that most closely reflects its original purpose.
Supplementary Provision
